Electric Trolling Motors Guide (1) -Application

An electric trolling motor is one of the most useful pieces of equipment you can install on your fishing boat or small and medium sizes boats.  

They can be used as:

• The primary motor in moving your boat in a short distance or period.
• A backup motor in case of a failure of your gas motor.
• Used for trolling where legal.
•  Moving your boat a short distance to fish a new spot. The ability to maneuver your boat into tight areas with   great precision is invaluable on the water.
• Moving slowly along a piece of fishing structure while you fish.
• Holding your boat's position on top of a piece of structure.

You should avoid using in following conditions:

•  Try best to avoid using in saltwater. In case motor eroded under improper maintenance. The fresh watery type trolling motor CAN NOT uses in saltwater.
• Avoid using in the complicated water or the water with litters, in case the propeller broken or damaged.
• Avoid using on the violent collision sports or as the main power of the boat that operated in long distance and period.
